Two Italian Wine Makers from Friuli, Italy Bring Wines and Italian Culture to Wine Tasting Event at Tomasso Trattoria

Southborough, MA -- Guests will have the rare opportunity to mingle, drink wine and learn from the masters when  two Italian wine makers and estate owners lead the February 7, 2006 Wine Tasting Event at Tomasso Trattoria and Enoteca.  

 Fulvio Bressan, a 9th generation winemaker and owner of  Bressan Mastri Vinai Winery; and Federico Frumento, owner of Casa Zuliani Winery (founded 1923) will present their wines and entertain guests with their charm and expertise.  The

private dining room banquet table is the setting for this unique, interactive tasting event. 

Chef Tony Bettencourt will prepare Friulian treats to accompany the wines.  Wines to be presented include both red and white.  The selection may include some or all of the following wines in tasting portions:  Bressan’s Verduzzo Friulano, a dry white; Schiopettino, a red; and Pignol, a red/white.  Casa Zuliani’s Sauvignon Blanc Collio, Malvasia, and Cabernet Franc.         

The tasting will last about one and half hours and guests are encouraged to make dinner reservations to coincide  with the end of the event.  $25 per person, tax and tip included. Reservations required by calling 508 481 8484.
